Our Fleet
“Bumblebee”
Originally starting life as a Fabick Caterpillar service truck out of St. Louis, MO - our (originally a) 1987 Ford F800, has been heavily modified & modernized to better operate in the hilly areas of Pennsylvania. It runs a tuned 7.8L New Holland diesel, 13 speed, double overdrive Eaton transmission, and tall highway gears allowing it to run comfortably on the east coast turnpikes. This truck has an 11.5ft Maintainer service body, 8k lb / 16ft hydraulic crane, onboard air, 400a AC / DC welder / 10kw generator package, and worklights 360*. Its “short” wheelbase makes it nimble and maneuverable in tight areas.
While the complexity of “integrated systems” used in modern equipment don’t allow us to be perfect, we try our best to show up with the right equipment to diagnose your machinery on the first trip. When requesting for service, we will primarily be showing up with one of these rigs. Dimensions and weights are listed below - please inform us if the working area cannot accommodate our equipment.
Weight: 22,000lbs / 12 tons (9,980kg)
Height: 9ft 8"in (2.95m)
Width: 8ft (2.4m)
Length: 22ft (6.7m)
“Fenrir”
Truck “Number 2” was added to our fleet in 2024. It spent the first part of its life as one of DXI Constructions mechanics trucks around Baltimore, MD. This 2013 Peterbilt 337 runs a modified Cummins 8.3L with an Allison automatic transmission and highway gears for running between PA and NJ often. This truck is outfitted with a 14ft IMT body, 10k lb / 26ft hydraulic crane, Miller 302 airpak ( 300a AC / DC welder & 10kw generator, arc gouging 12 / 24vdc battery charge jumpstart capabilities, 30cfm of compressed air), Oxy / Acetylene, lube skid pumping system with diesel engine oil and fuel, air / electric fluid transfer pumps and full lighting package. This truck is our primary road service rig and is loaded to the teeth with tooling.
Weight: 24,000lbs / 14 tons (10,886kg)
Height: 9ft 11"in (3.0m)
Width: 8ft (2.4m)

Why do we charge for mileage?
Every mobile service company charges a mileage fee based on location. This is standard to almost all trades and covers the cost of operating the vehicle across varying distances. In a shop or garage, the building does not move, so operating costs are for the most part, fixed. Expenses like electric, water, sewer, and climate control are all factored into the hourly rate of the business. In the case of any mobile service company, the distance we travel to reach you ensures a fair cost whether you are located 5 minutes away, or 2 hours as the crow flies. Some examples include:
Diesel fuel is on average $4.00 per gallon.
Our service trucks weigh around 23,000lbs and average 9-10mpg.
It costs thousands of dollars per year to maintain US & State regulatory compliance just to operate a commercial vehicle legally on the road.
Tolls are substantially more expensive for commercial vehicles vs a passenger car or pickup truck.
How far are we willing to travel?
We travel to where our jobs require. Typically we remain within the NJ, PA area, but we have gone as far as New Hampshire and Virginia in special circumstances.
